Organised by Politecnico di Torino, CMCC’s Marta Ellena attended and presented the SDGs-EYES project during the discussion titled “Global challenges, local challenges: what solutions? The European Citizens’ Parliament to discover them”, on April 22.

The event Planet Week Torino 2024 – Pre-G7 Event, took place featuring a stimulating and constructive dialogue aimed at increasing awareness of climate action opportunities in daily life and the policies necessary for a more sustainable future. The active participation of stakeholder and policy-makers in climate change adaptation processes has taken on a central role.

During the event, SDGs-EYES was presented and especially the ongoing activities in the project, detailing the type of analysis being conducted regarding the heat-health relationship for the City of Turin (one of the Italian pilots), with reference to stakeholder and policymaker involvement.

Such events represent a great opportunity to further communicate the SDGs-EYES project and its activities given the importance of the topic that the project is tackling. Furthermore, such local events are a great chance to further strengthen the relationship with the local stakeholders.
