In July 2025, the SDGs-EYES project successfully hosted two dissemination webinars aimed at showcasing key results and the seven innovative services developed during the project.
- “The Impact of Climate on People” – held on 10 July 2025 – Online
- “The Impact of Climate on Ecosystems” – held on 15 July 2025 – Online
Led by Manuela Balzarolo (Project Coordinator, CMCC) and Malik Aljabu (Project Manager, CMCC), and Claire Jacobs (WR), the webinars brought together a wide range of participants, including co-design users, researchers, and stakeholders from various sectors.
Both events were highly engaging, offering not just presentations but also open discussions, interactive Q&A sessions, and space for feedback from the audience. Participants expressed strong interest in the project’s seven services and their potential to inform climate-resilient strategies aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The webinars served as a valuable opportunity to connect scientific outputs with real-world challenges. Through open dialogue and exchange, the sessions helped strengthen the link between research and practice—something at the very heart of SDGs-EYES. Many attendees praised the clarity of the presentations, the collaborative atmosphere, and the relevance of the showcased services to their local and sectoral needs. Moreover, the sessions provided an overview of the project’s goals, demonstrated how the developed services support decision-making for sustainable development, and emphasized the importance of co-designed climate services in addressing the interlinkages between climate, people, and ecosystems.
These events marked an important step in making SDGs-EYES results accessible and actionable for policy and practice.
