Communicating a complex research project in a clear, engaging, and visually compelling way is a key challenge in today’s landscape. That is why we planned to create a video to showcase the activities and outcomes of SDGs-EYES with the aim of reaching a broad audience of experts, policymakers and stakeholders.
By helping to simplify content, convey impactful messages and encourage a wider digital sharing, the project video has become a central element of the SDGs-EYES communication and dissemination strategy.
A project video that will be of service to science and society
Coordinated by the partner T6 Ecosystem and produced by Climate Media Factory, the project video will provide a clear and immersive overview of the SDGs-EYES, and its main outcomes platform. By integrating Copernicus satellite data with advanced analytics, the platform supports more effective and accessible monitoring of three interconnected Sustainable Development Goals: Climate Action (SDG 13), Life Below Water (SDG 14), and Life on Land (SDG 15).
The narrative is enriched by contributions from project partners representatives, including Manuela Balzarolo (CMCC, project coordinator), Stefano Natali (SISTEMA GmbH), and Michele Lazzarini (SatCen), who explain key features of our service. Moreover, the video uses pictures, moving icons and powerful scenes to show how climate change is affecting the oceans, land, and communities. The result is an experience designed to inform, engage, and inspire.
A series of partners interviews for in-depth project insights
In addition to the institutional video, SDGs-EYES also features a series of short partner interviews, aimed at presenting different aspects of the project: e.g. methodologies, approaches, and results. These dynamic clips put a human face to science and help translate challenging processes into relatable narratives.
Through these multimedia products, SDGs-EYES strengthens the connection between research and society, making scientific findings and knowledge more accessible in a catchy and interactive way.
