The SDGs-EYES team is excited to announce the organisation of its first Policy event on October 8th, at the EuroGEO Workshop 2024 in Kraków, Poland. This will be a unique opportunity to dive into their cutting-edge research and play a role in shaping future initiatives.
This event aims to engage experts and stakeholders from key organisations to foster a productive discussion on integrating Earth Observation (EO) data into decision-making processes. Special attention will be devoted to SDGs monitoring and related policy design, particularly for climate, ocean, and land goals (SDGs 13, 14, and 15).
The event also aims to present preliminary project findings and gather insightful feedback and suggestions to refine and enhance the future of EO and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As we move forward, this growing community will serve as a vibrant platform to present, debate, and strengthen project outcomes, fostering a collective vision for maximising the impact of EO data in advancing the SDGs.
