On January 21, 2025, we will have the opportunity to bring the experience and point of view of SDGs-EYES to the External Feedback Panel held during the final presentation day of the HARMONIA project. This event represents an important opportunity for discussion between European projects that work in similar fields and on closely interconnected issues, such as urban resilience and adaptation to climate change.

The event will take place at the Politecnico di Milano, an ideal context to promote collaboration and dialogue between experts, researchers, and stakeholders from all over Europe. The work will start at 9:30 and will continue until 17:30, articulated in a rich agenda that includes thematic panels and round tables. These moments of discussion will allow both an in-depth analysis of the results achieved by HARMONIA and an open dialogue on common challenges and opportunities. In addition to the project wrap-up, there will be spaces dedicated to interactions between representatives of projects and internal and external partners.

The HARMONIA project, implemented with the contribution of 22 partners distributed across Europe, has as its main objective the development of advanced tools for the assessment of urban resilience. Through an innovative and integrated approach, the Integrated Resilience Assessment Platform (IRAP) was created, a system that allows to understand and quantify the effects of climate change at local scale. Furthermore, the project produced a Decision Support System (DSS), designed to help administrators, urban planners and policy makers to develop effective and targeted strategies.

The results of HARMONIA were tested in four pilot contexts: Milan, Piraeus, Sofia and Ixelles, each of which offered specific insights related to their territorial peculiarities and climate challenges. During the final event, the main outputs of the project will be presented, which represent a significant added value for the development of SDGs-EYES activities. Our participation will therefore offer the opportunity to integrate these results with our perspectives and enrich the development path of our project.
